Timeframe(Timeframe)
The period each candle represents (1 min, 5 min, 1 hr, daily). The higher timeframe gives you direction, the lower timeframe gives you timing (top-down analysis).
Also written as: zaman dilimi
A common combination: daily/4-hour for direction and levels, 15-minute/5-minute for entries. Conflicts between timeframes are normal; as a rule, the higher timeframe takes priority.
Constantly switching timeframes leads to decision paralysis; look only at the timeframes your strategy is built for.
