Privacy Policy

Explains what data we collect and why, how we use it, and your rights.

This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Turkish text, the Turkish text prevails.

Scope

This policy covers the processing of personal data of people who visit and use the GLADIO Trading website. For the statutory information notice on the protection of personal data, see our KVKK Information Notice page.

Data we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, password (passwords are stored irreversibly hashed) and language preference.
  • Course data: use of course referral codes, course access status, viewing progress, points/rank, and course video viewing sessions (date, IP address, browser information).
  • Newsletter: email address, language preference, subscription confirmation and its date.
  • Usage data: pages visited, session information (at most two active sessions are kept), and server logs such as IP address and browser information.
  • Cookies: a session cookie (when you are signed in), a language preference cookie and a theme preference. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

How we use it

  • Creating your account, signing you in and providing course access
  • Running course progress tracking and the points system
  • Preventing course videos from being recorded and shared without permission, and identifying the source if they are
  • Sending the newsletter (only to confirmed subscribers)
  • Site security, error detection and performance improvements
  • Meeting our legal obligations

Third-party services

The site uses the following service providers, each subject to its own privacy policy:

  • Hosting and database: cloud server infrastructure located in the European Union (data is stored outside Turkey, within the EU)
  • Email delivery: Resend (verification, password reset and newsletter emails)
  • Video streaming: Bunny Stream (course videos; your IP address is passed to the provider when the player loads)
  • Market data: TradingView embedded widgets (TradingView may set its own cookies when they load)
  • Sign-in: with the optional "Continue with Google" option, Google shares your name and email address with us for authentication; Google's own privacy policy applies

Watermark on course videos

While a course video is playing, your own course referral code is shown over the picture as a semi-transparent watermark; if the code was issued to more than one person or can still be redeemed, part of the code and your member number are shown instead. The watermark moves at regular intervals. Its purpose is to stop videos being recorded and shared without permission, and to identify the source if they are. If the watermark is hidden, covered or altered, the video stops and this is recorded in the viewing session log (date, IP address, browser information). A watermark seen in a leaked recording is matched to the account it belongs to.

Retention

Account data is kept until the account is deleted; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; server and security logs, and course video viewing sessions, for no more than 12 months. Statutory retention obligations are unaffected. You can request deletion of your account through the channels on our Contact page.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing, and to data portability. You can send your requests through the channels on our Contact page. For details, see the KVKK Information Notice.

Changes

This policy may be updated; significant changes will be announced on the site.
