Data controller
The operator of the GLADIO Trading website ("GLADIO Trading" or "we") is the data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). This notice is provided to inform users of our site as required by Article 10 of the KVKK.
Personal data processed
- Identity and contact: name, email address (when you sign in with Google, the name and email address on your Google account)
- Account and security: hashed password, session information, sign-in dates, IP address
- Course: use of referral codes, access status, viewing progress, points and rank; course video viewing sessions (date, IP address, browser) and the referral code or member number shown as a watermark on videos
- Marketing: newsletter subscription and consent record (only with your explicit consent)
- Usage: pages visited and browser information
Purposes of processing
- Entering into and performing the membership agreement; providing the course
- Ensuring information security and preventing misuse
- Preventing course content from being recorded and shared without permission; identifying the source if it is shared, and protecting our legal rights
- Responding to requests and complaints
- Sending the newsletter if you have given explicit consent
- Meeting our legal obligations
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed under Article 5 of the KVKK on the following legal grounds: it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract; it is necessary for the data controller to meet a legal obligation; it is necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right; legitimate interest; and — for the newsletter — explicit consent. The watermark on course videos and the viewing session logs rely on our legitimate interest in protecting course content and on the necessity of protecting a right.
Transfers
To the extent needed to provide the service, your personal data is transferred, in line with Article 9 of the KVKK, to service providers abroad that provide hosting, email delivery, video streaming and authentication; our servers are located in the European Union. The list of providers is in the Privacy Policy. Your data is never sold or rented to third parties for advertising.
How data is collected
Your data is collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, when you register, sign in, enter a code, use the newsletter form or use the site.
Your rights (KVKK Article 11)
- To learn whether your personal data is processed
- If it is, to request information about it
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose
- To know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom it is transferred
- To ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- To ask for it to be erased or destroyed under the conditions set out in the KVKK
- To ask for any correction, erasure or destruction to be notified to the third parties it was transferred to
- To object to an outcome against you that arises from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems
- To claim compensation if you suffer loss because of unlawful processing
How to apply
You can send requests under Article 11 of the KVKK through the channels on our Contact page (from your registered email address). We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
