Volume profile
The horizontal distribution of volume across price levels. The POC is the most-traded level; the value area (VA) is the zone where 70% of the volume gathers.
High volume nodes (HVN) are zones where price is accepted, low volume nodes (LVN) are zones it moves through quickly; price doesn't stop at LVNs, it slows at HVNs.
Daily, session and "composite" profiles are used. An open outside the value area forms the classic intraday setups (value area rotation).
