Pros
- No time limit, minimum trading days, consistency rule or news-trading restriction
- Static max drawdown: 5% of the starting balance on Pro
- 24/7 trading including weekends and on-demand payouts; $50 minimum after the profit split
- Three product options (Classic / Pro / Turbo) and account sizes from $5,000 to $200,000; fees start at $20
- Standard profit split is 80%; it can be raised to 90% for an extra fee at purchase (not retroactively)
Cons
- A 3% daily loss limit and a tight static max drawdown; a breached account is permanently disabled, there is no reset and a new evaluation must be bought
- Payouts are made only in USDC (Ethereum, ERC-20); the evaluation fee is not refundable once trading begins (refund only on KYC rejection)
- By the firm's own disclosure, funded-stage trades may be recorded internally or routed to the market; traders hold no interest in the underlying accounts, and conflicts of interest between the firm and traders are acknowledged
- Only DXtrade and the Breakout terminal; no MetaTrader/cTrader. Leverage is fixed per market (max 10x) and cannot be changed
- Third-party/off-the-shelf strategies, copy trading, cross-account hedging and account sharing are prohibited; EA/bot use is not addressed separately on the site
Full review
Breakout is a crypto-focused single-phase prop firm. The site carries an announcement page that Breakout "has been acquired by Kraken" and says it has operated continuously since November 2023.
Products (program rules page, updated 29 July 2026). There are three single-phase products: Classic (10% target, 6% static max drawdown, up to $100,000), Pro (12% target, 5%; $5,000–$200,000) and Turbo (9% target, 3%; $5,000–$200,000). All three have a 3% max daily loss (calculated from the balance at 00:30 UTC each day). This entry uses Pro, which the site labels "most popular".
Fees (Pro). $33 for $5,000, $65 for $10,000, $150 for $25,000, $280 for $50,000, $545 for $100,000 and $1,090 for $200,000. Classic runs $45–$800 and Turbo $20–$660. The 90% profit-split add-on costs roughly 20% more on Pro (e.g. $78 for $10,000). Promotions and prices can change.
Rules. No time limit, minimum trading days, consistency rule or news restriction; weekend holding is allowed and trading is 24/7. Trading fees are 0.04% per side plus a 0.033% daily financing fee per open position. Leverage is fixed per market: 10x on BTC (the symbols table also shows 10x on S&P 500 and XYZ100, while the rules page says 5x for those two), 5x on most other assets and 2–3x on the rest. Markets are mostly crypto; the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100) indices, WTI crude and silver are also listed.
Payouts. On the funded account, on demand, 24/7; minimum $50 after the split; USDC (ERC-20). The standard split is 80%. KYC (SumSub) is mandatory for the funded stage; if KYC is rejected, active evaluations are refunded.
Countries and platform. Türkiye is not on the list of ineligible countries (Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Syria, Venezuela and others). Platform: DXtrade and the Breakout terminal (web and mobile apps).
Points to note. The evaluation is run by Breakout Trading Group, LLC, while funded accounts are handled by a separate company, Payward Oceanic, Ltd. (POL); the firm states on its own page that the two are separate. By the firm's own disclosure, funded-stage trades may be recorded as internal entries or routed to the market; traders hold no ownership interest in the underlying accounts, and conflicts of interest between the firm and traders are acknowledged. The fee is not refundable once trading begins.
