False breakout(False breakout / fakeout)
A brief move beyond a level followed by a reversal; the classic trap that collects breakout traders' stops.

False breakouts are not random: the stop orders behind a level provide liquidity, and large players use that liquidity to open positions in the opposite direction. Long-wicked candles and a fast reversal are its signature.
A false breakout is an opportunity to trade against it: enter in the opposite direction after a close back inside the level, with the stop behind the wick.
