Equity(Equity)
Account balance ± the floating profit/loss of open positions. The balance reflects closed trades, while equity shows the real value at that moment.
Also written as: özsermaye
The balance changes only with closed trades; equity changes with every tick as long as positions are open. Margin level and drawdown calculations are based on equity.
Prop firms' daily loss limits are mostly calculated on equity: your open loss also counts toward the limit.
