Accounts and costs. Classic: spreads from 1.6 pips, no commission. Raw: spreads from 0.0 pips, $3 per lot per side (forex and precious-metal CFDs only). TradingView Raw: $3.5 per lot per side, USD only. Minimum deposit is $100 for Classic and Raw and $1,000 for the Futures account. A user can hold up to 7 live accounts. A swap-free (Islamic) account is available on all account types for eligible clients.
Platforms and products. MT4, MT5, TradingView (with Raw account credentials) and the Tickmill Trader mobile app. Instruments: forex, indices, commodities, crypto and stock CFDs. The firm's FAQ describes the execution model as a mix of market-making and STP.
Leverage. The accounts overview shows 1:1000 while the help centre gives a default/max of 1:500 and 1:1000 on selected MT5 symbols; high leverage magnifies losses as well. Limits vary by regulation and instrument.
Deposits. Bank wire, card, crypto, Skrill, Neteller and UnionPay; third-party payments are not accepted. The firm says it charges no deposit fees (intermediary banks or wallets may).
Company structure and protection. Tickmill is not one company but a trading name used by several separately licensed companies. According to the firm's own pages: Tickmill UK Ltd (FCA, FRN 717270), Tickmill Europe Ltd (CySEC, Cyprus Investment Firm, licence 278/15), Tickmill South Africa (Pty) Ltd (FSCA, FSP 49464), Tickmill Ltd (Seychelles FSA, securities dealer, licence SD008) and Tickmill Asia Ltd (Labuan FSA). Compensation coverage depends on the company: the FSCS (up to £120,000) is cited for UK clients and the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund (90% of the claim up to €20,000) for EU clients.
Opening an account. Which Tickmill entity serves a client, and which products are offered, depends on the country of residence and local regulation; check this when you register or ask Tickmill support.
